Low Carb Recipes & Weight loss Tips
Today was the day I looked down at the scale and knew I had met my first weight loss goal. instead of it showing me an error message it said 356.7 pounds. Oh I know that isn’t good, but at least the scale isn’t giving me a digitally correct way of saying you are too fucking fat for me to honestly weigh. It is a weight loss goal met. My next goal will for it to say 350 pounds.
What I really want to make this post about is the importance of weight loss goals. I know that might sound silly or obvious, but it is less obvious that it sounds really. Many people who decide the want to go on a diet to lose weight never set a goal and thus never achieve it. Setting a single goal isn’t enough though. Oh you should set a long term goal weight, it is a guide for setting your short term goals. A medium range goal that is several weeks or months down the road has value, but not nearly as much the short term goals you set yourself.
When I talk about short term goals I am talking about less than two weeks. Since starting this diet on the tenth, six days ago I have met two short term goals. One to get over the no carb nasties without killing anyone and for the scale to actually give me a weight reading. They were short, simple, and achievable. I know I accomplished something. No matter how small it was, I can mark it down as a goal accomplished and feel better for it.

When I was fat is meant as much to enlighten you as it is to make me remember what it took for me to get thin, again. I call it like I see it and if that is something you think might offend your delicate sensibilities then this probably is not the best place for you.
