Low Carb Recipes & Weight loss Tips
It is possible to lose weight without exercising. That is not to say it is a good idea or how much you will lose. The question is do you start off a major weight loss expedition exercising or not exercising? My thoughts is you need to make a lifestyle change gradually or your body isn’t likely to know what to do with itself.
If you radically alter your diet, as with a low carb diet, and start increasing your physical activity at the same time, based on personal observations, you are likely to tax the body into doing nothing until it adjusts. This adjustment period can cause you to quit your weight loss program for lack of results. If you feel like crap without seeing any benefits it is just too easy to say it isn’t worth it.
My advice is to start your new weight loss plan with either a change in diet or an increase in cardio exercise. After a week to ten days you can slowly introduce the other. In my plan you start with a dietary change first, since you won’t feel like exercising when you are dealing with the no carb nasties. If you are already exercising when you start your new diet, you should keep it up since any drop in metabolism is going to affect your dietary weight loss. On that same note, don’t increase the exercise beyond what you were doing, as the drop in carbs can make both the diet and exercise less productive.
Once you decide to start exercising do something simple. For me I have three times a day when I do cardio exercise. Currently I hop on the exercise bike for five minutes at a time. I can devote five minutes and with the condition my knees are in that is about all they want to allow me. Beyond that I am doing my in the office chair stretching exercises that I have been doing for some time. I recommend that think about putting these into your daily routine no matter what your weight if you are stuck in a chair most of the day.

When I was fat is meant as much to enlighten you as it is to make me remember what it took for me to get thin, again. I call it like I see it and if that is something you think might offend your delicate sensibilities then this probably is not the best place for you.
